Si è svolto Sabato 28 Marzo Il Grand Prix Internazionale di Milton Keynes in Inghilterra.
Il torneo inglese è uno dei più importanti del calendario internazionale e, a rappresentare l'Italia ed in particolare l'associazione Calcio Subbuteo Perugia erano presenti Fabio Belloni e Mauro Manganello.
Mauro Manganello, forte della posizione numero 6 del ranking mondiale partiva come uno dei favoriti e come testa di serie numero 1 del torneo; Fabio Belloni, tornato a giocare solo quest'anno dopo i fasti degli anni '80 in cui proprio insieme a Mauro Manganello ed a Stefano de Francesco si aggiudicò il campionato italiano a squadre, partiva come outsider non testa di serie del torneo.
